Summary:This article reports some results collected from an interactive process in which the researcher and two participants, students from an Education Course, observed how the participants carried out the aim of elaborating, implementing and analyzing a set of Natural Science classes. In such process their interaction concerning the scientific knowledge they had of the contents and strategies on how to teach them were investigated. From the results it was inferred they lacked information on specific areas of knowledge, which they needed in order to teach. Some thoughts referring to teacher training for Early Childhood Education and its main locus: Education Courses are presented.
