Summary: | Despite the ongoing presence of several Hispanic countries and cultures in state programs concerning Spanish as a foreign language in French education, the suggested methodology remains very often traditional with a predominantly biased vision of history as well as texts that are considered "beautiful". How can we help young teachers in their initial training to have a different perception of the other, to reach a true cultural competence that surpasses academic culture? We will show in our study the details involved in a Spanish teacher's initial training since, as it appears, they tend to be more and more of Hispanic origin. We will describe their training history through and thanks to the TICE in order to overcome the reductive and stereotyping clichés as they move initially towards the use of Internet, and in order to reach out for a more open perception of the Hispanic World and of different pedagogical practices.
