Summary: | In this article are presented the actions of receiving the work of the great classics of Romanian literature in the East-Slavic space from 1950 to 2019 by mediating two types of literary interactions: artistic translation and critical interpretation. The process of receiving Eminescian literary treasure is considered to be incomplete, because Russian and Ukrainian publishers are reluctant towards its prose, which encompasses fundamental features of European romanticism and to the publicity that is imposed by an extremely wide and actual thematic framework. The translation of the work of Ion Creanga, Ion Luca Caragiale and Ioan Slavici is considered satisfying, while the process of critical interpretation of writers’ creation have remained at the dimension of prefaces, afterwards and summary articles of dictionaries and encyclopedias. Finally, in the study, it is noted that the literary processes discussed represent a valuable tradition, which,
over the last two decades, denotes a regrettable slowdown.
