Description
Summary:We describe an eleven-month-old girl who presented with bilateral lower limb weakness and bowel dysfunction since birth. These symptoms were due to a right-sided lumbar para-spinal tumor, invading the spinal canal extradurally from L1-L4 segments. We performed a L1-L4 posterior laminectomy and maximal debulking when she was seven-month-old. Neuroblastoma was confirmed pathologically, and adjuvant therapy commenced.
