Summary: | Social management covers the impact or influence of social change where it is necessary to reinforce the collective values of society, always oriented towards sustainable human development. In the cooperative sector of the province of Pichincha, compliance with social objectives requires carrying out social actions to achieve balance with economic actions, which are reflected in the social balance sheets. The objective of the present investigation was to evaluate the social management in four Savings and Credit Cooperatives of the province of Pichincha, Ecuador. To this end, theoretical and experimental methods were applied, through a survey carried out with the managers of the selected cooperatives.
