Influence of chemotherapy after radical prostatectom in colorectal cancer patients on Th1/Th2 and T cell subgroup

Objective: To explore the influence of colorectal cancer radical postoperative chemotherapy on Th1/Th2 and T cell subsets in patients with colorectal cancer . Methods: Retrospectively collected the clinical data of 86 cases patients with colorectal cancer who were admitted in oncology department,...

Methods: Retrospectively collected the clinical data of 86 cases patients with colorectal cancer who were admitted in oncology department, they were divided into two groups according to whether the postoperative chemotherapy, 41 cases in control group were given only conventional radical treatment, 45 cases in observation group were treated with chemotherapy 1 month after postoperative, and they were treated for 6 months. Tested the Th1 cytokine interferon gamma (IFN-γ), Th2 type cytokines interleukin 4 (IL-4), the calculation of IFN-γ/IL-4 and T cell subsets CD3+, CD4+, CD8+, CD4+/CD8+ respectively at 1 month postoperative (T0), 7 months (T1) and 13 months after postoperative (T2). Results: IL-4, IFN-γ, IFN-γ/IL-4 and T cell subsets in the control group had no statistical significance at each time point; With the extension of time, IL-4, IFN-γ, CD3+, CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ in observation group showed first decreased and then increased trend, compared with T0, IL-4, IFN-γ, CD3+, CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ in observation group were significantly reduced while CD8+ was significantly elevated. It had significantly differences compared with that in control group at T1. Compared with T1, IL-4, IFN-γ, CD3+, CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ in observation group were significantly elevated while CD8+ was significantly reduced at T2, while had no significant differences compared with that at T0 and that in control group at T2. IFN-γ/IL-4 in observation group had no significant difference at each time point. Conclusion: Colorectal cancer radical postoperative chemotherapy can cause transient immunosuppression and inhibit anti tumor immune function.http://www.hnykdxxb.com/PDF/201614/36.pdfColorectal cancerRadical prostatectomyChemotherapyTh1/Th2T cell subgroup
