For him, the situation of minorities was something which he could experience and observe in his daily life. Throughout his work as a writer and director, he endeavoured to tell about and show minorities, whatever they might be. This article charts the progress of this central theme in Pasolini’s work, highlighting the thought and the poetics which derived from it, within their constants and their variations.
