Summary:Using AIS for radar calibration has been widely used in the military field. However, during the calibration process, it was found that the accuracy of the post-school radar was not significantly improved. This paper analyzes the causes of radar accuracy from the error sequence processing level, and proposes a high-precision error calibration method based on AIS. The new method first proposed adding the error distribution analysis to the traditional calibration process, and screening the associated and aligned error sequence for two outliers. The measured data proves that the proposed method can obtain more accurate system error estimates, and effectively calibrates the radar system error, which improves the radar detection accuracy.
