Summary: | In the last years, the province of Mendoza has established itself as one of the main tourist destinations in Argentina: its landscape has positioned itself as a place of choice for both domestic and foreign tourists. The present work aims to reflect on the significant processes that drove the construction of the landscape of the provincial capital through publicaction promoted by the state. It discusses the processes that drive them, the actors who embody and the resulting images that give rise to the social representations of a city. Over these constructions we found the key of its identity and much of its tourism development. |
