The electrophoretic analysis of spectra of acid soluble proteins and antioxidant enzymes of moses under the influence of heavy metals

The changes of electrophoretic spectra of acid soluble proteins and multiple molecular forms of superoxide dismutase and peroxidase have been analysed in the moss Funaria hygrometrica Hedw. grown in media with different concentrations of copper sulfate and zinc sulfate from 1,0 to 100,0 µМ. It was s...

It was shown that only subletal concentrations of Cu2+ and Zn2+ caused considerable quantitative and qualitative changes of the fractions of the acid soluble proteins and multiple molecular forms of the enzymes. It was established that the influence of Cu2+ions on the electrophoretic mobility and expressivity was higher then that of Zn2+ ions. It can be explained through higher toxicity of the former than that of latter.http://publications.lnu.edu.ua/journals/index.php/biology/article/view/433mossesheavy metalsthe electrophoretic analysis of spectra of acid soluble proteins and multiple molecular forms of enzymessuperoxide dismutaseperoxidase
