Proving this growth, there has been a spread of this science in society which has also gained prominence. The objective of this study is to report the publicity of neuroscience in schools. In order to do so, we have carried out Neuroblitzes, which were weekly visits lasting approximately one hour in public schools of Uruguaiana-RS. One hundred and sixty-six (166) students from an elementary school, aged 7 to 14 years-old, participated in these actions. Each a Neuroblitz consisted of a short and simple theory explanation about a topic of neuroscience, followed by a practical activity. Activities had great acceptance among the participating students, therefore we believe the Neuroblitzes fulfilled their goal of disseminating neuroscience in schools.http://ojs.unesp.br/index.php/revista_proex/article/view/1098Neuroeducação.
