The theoretical and analytical framework used is the Critical Discourse Analysis and Argumentative Semantics. The analysis developed showed that the lexical selection is the main linguistic-argumentative mechanism used along with modal evaluation to chain arguments and construct sense for the final argument. The lexical choice creates a dichotomy between good and bad, desirable and undesirable and culminate with the argument for the punishment of what is bad and not desirable.
