Its age is Sinemurian and it was recorded associated with Zamites aninaensis foliage from Anina, South Carpathians, Resita Basin, where these species are confined to the upper sandstone sequences of the Valea Tereziei Member, Steierdorf Formation, between the Coal seams no. 6 and 8.
