| Summary: | The author of in this article has analyzed the main works of local researchers and unpublished documents archives (The State Archive of the Russian Federation, the State Archive of the Kirov Region, the Center for Documentation and Recent History of the Volgograd Region) and attempted to make comprehensive and objective review of the history of political parties in the Central Black Earth Region. The article analyzes the process of establishing of the multiparty system in Kursk, Tambov and Voronezh provinces. The author makes the conclusion, concerning the quantitative and the social composition of district committees, the work of local branches with the population of provinces.
