In this article, they discuss the way in which the research content and methodology have evolved from one project to the other, pointing out similarities and differences. The first part discusses the more statutory dimension of how the research team was created, namely the scientific context of the team, its synergy, and its legitimacy for the type of research involved. The second part deals more specifically with the way in which the research options have evolved: from the notion of “ICT” to that of “numerical tools”, from the notion of “scientific disciplines” to that of “academic knowledge”, from analyzing interviews on teaching practice to observing teaching activity as it is practiced. The article ends with a discussion of adequate research methodology.http://journals.openedition.org/dms/393ICT usesnumerical toolshigher educationteaching practices
