In the final analysis of the studies, 13 articles, 1 book, 5 manuals, 2 protocols and 7 publications on official websites with health data were used to prepare the research.<strong> Conclusion: </strong>it is essential to reflect on the difficulties in applying proper management of PPH, in addition to all the consequences that this complication has on the lives of these women and their families, factors that demonstrate the magnitude of a public health problem.
