Description
Summary:Pork meat has for a long time been the most popular meat among consumers in the Czech Republic. Profitability of pig production is currently declining and thereby it is decreasing the self-sufficiency and independence of the Czech Republic in the production of this commodity. The article refuted the possibility of influencing the profits of agricultural companies, dealing with pork, with the timing of the sale of its products and thereby increasing profits. The analysis was performed in the prices of agricultural primary producers, processors and retailers of mentioned commodities and this study did not demonstrate a range of monthly seasonal price fluctuations, which would allow commercial use.
