Martí Reception in the Senate of the Universidad de Oriente between 1947-1953

<p>Reception Marti is one of the topics most touched by our historians since the early twentieth century, thanks to major figures in literature and the arts have written about José Martí. Thus it appears that the issue is not new in their study but on different lines and themes every day come to light. Teachers who founded this university had raised the Martí value which this paper is an approach to certain findings made by these educators, who were in the cloister between the years of 1947-1953. This work allows us to suggest that the university has little documentation  on the subject, but still shows, the tribute dedicated to Martí in recent years. They were used as sources writings, lectures and conferences held at the University of East published by the Department of Extension and Cultural Relations and found in several texts.</p><p>Keywords:  reception of Martí, ideology of Martí, Universidad de Oriente.</p>
