To do this, Kolcaba’s theory of comfort and Dahlberg’s theory of concept were used. The method is qualitative, with obtaining of predicates through the application of an open-ended questionnaire, half of which were given to clients and half to nurses. The information was processed following the stages suggested by Bardin. The results showed that 61% of clients and nurses attribute comfort to well-being, indicating that a physical-biological point of view dominates.http://dx.doi.org/10.5380/ce.v16i1.21111NursingPalliative careHospitalization
