Methods that have been used in the study. System approach and methodology of economic, statistical, economic and mathematical analysis to study the trends of the main factors affecting the competitiveness and potential of the industry. Results work. For sustainable economic growth dairy industry and provide the population of the dairy products must constantly take measures to improve production efficiency, improve product quality and reduce its cost. In recent years, in milk- grocery subcomplex have been the positive moves, but the crisis forced the company and scientists more responsible to approach to the determination trends and techniques to determine trends and techniques to enhance production efficiency, including in dairy cattle. On the one hand the strategic objectives remain the same, but on the other, the reality requires a new, weighted measures to stabilize and develop the dairy market. Conclusions. Building the dairy farming of competitive, sustainable and predictable in the development trends possible only on the condition: intensification of production, improvement product quality, reduction in the number of domestic and entering new markets Given the constant reduction in the number of cows and expanded export opportunities in EU countries industry requires urgent solution of the following tasks: of concentration of milk production, due to the formation agricultural service cooperatives, of encourage of the owners of cows to create a mini-farms, of financial incentives to improve the quality of milk,of establishment of a «fair» price of purchases, increasing the productivity of dairy cattle in all categories of farms, strengthen tribal base.https://economic-bulletin.com/index.php/journal/article/view/378dairy cattleproductivityprofitabilitycostquality of production of raw milkthe price of the procurementstrategy development and stabilization
