These relations were focused on the economic aspects, due to the fact that Economic European Community and the European Free Trade Association were two opposites economics blocks. The struggle between EEC and EFTA was over during Jacques Delors terms as head of the European Commission with the accession of three EFTA's countries in the EEC.
