| Summary: | In the monograph under review, the advantages and shortcomings of the online focus group method are considered. The book is divided into two parts: the first three chapters are devoted to comparing separate aspects of organizing and conducting classic and online focus groups; in the final chapters the data from the asynchronous online focus groups are subject to methodological introspection. A chapter by chapter review is aimed at revealing the specifics of this method, while focusing on the unclear and controversial points in its author's presentation. It is concluded that the monograph provides an adequate notion on the main methodological principles and procedures for organizing and conducting online focus groups. |
