Studiu privind impactul culturilor de plopi hibrizi asupra proprietăților solului [ Impact of hybrid poplar short rotation crops on soil properties]

Poplar SRC can bring a major contribution to biomass under the conditions of rational soil use. From another point of view, the export of biomass at the end of the production cycle, materialized by the consumption of nutrients from the soil and possible changes in the chemical characteristics of the...

From another point of view, the export of biomass at the end of the production cycle, materialized by the consumption of nutrients from the soil and possible changes in the chemical characteristics of the soil. This study analyzed the effect of nutrient consumption on poplar crops with short production cycles and other chemical characteristics of cultivated soils. The research method involved harvesting soil samples from each area of three different uses. The initial objective was to harvest soil samples from: hybrid poplar crops at the end of a 5 year production cycle (with hybrids of AF2 and AF8 clones, set up in 2011 by mechanized planting of 2 m, in the 1.5 x 3m density); from an agricultural crop (potato) and from an uncultivated land. Given that within the 3 km radius of the research site in the Dorneşti and Satu Mare areas, the agricultural land is totally cultivated, in the absence of an uncultivated land, and as a witness, lands were maintained as grasslands. As a result of the research it can be said that a new established hybrid poplar crops induces important changes in the soil chemical properties, which does not necessarily mean a degradation of the physicochemical conditions (pH, Al, Vah%), but rather an exhaustion the stock of soil nutrients (N, P, K) and soluble salts (CTSS) responsible for plant mineral nutrition.http://www.bucovina-forestiera.ro/arhiva/2019/19(1)/03_savin_alexei_19-29.pdfhybrid poplar cropsshort rotation cropssoil proprietiesnpk consumption
