Crystal structure of (2-bromomethyl-1-phenylsulfonyl-1H-indol-3-yl)(phenyl)methanone

In the title compound, C22H16BrNO3S, the phenyl rings make dihedral angles of 84.81 (16) and 61.67 (17)° with the indole ring system (r.m.s. deviation = 0.012 Å), while the phenyl rings are inclined to one another by 69.5 (2)°.
