The key point in the preparation of an examinee for the Celpe-Bras Exam, therefore, must be the understanding of the dialogical vision that underlies the test. Hence, this work aims to discuss on the design of teaching material to prepare for the Celpe-Bras Exam based on the concept of discourse genres. The paper begins by introducing the characteristics of the Celpe-Bras Exam, its structure and the notion of proficiency. It next reviews the theoretical fundamentals relative to the development of the proposed didactic material and its elaboration stages.
