We are presenting the case of a 37 year old patient with an ileal perforation, in whom an ileostomy was done. He was on a ventilator for eleven days in the ICU and he developed septicaemia due to this organism. It is important that clinicians consider Elizabethkingia Meningoseptica also as a rare cause of septicaemia.
