Summary:Institutionalization includes the ways, methods and rules to be followed in order to perform business functions correctly. In this study, where the concept of institutionalization addressed, the steps that should be taken in the way of institutionalization of the forest products industry enterprises operating in the Central Anatolia Region and the institutionalization levels of the enterprises are investigated. Within the scope of the study, 381 questionnaires received from forestry products and furniture industry enterprises with 10 or more employees in the region designated as the universe. The questionnaire, which was used as a data acquisition tool, was composed of 11 questions and 43 judgments. As a result of the study, it was determined that businesses should make improvements in management organization and adopt participatory management approach in the way of institutionalization. It has been determined that businesses should make strategic plans to increase their institutionalization levels, standardize in management functions and give importance to professionalization.
