Summary:The article presents a review of the monograph “Buddhism in Mongolia: History, Clergy, Monasteries” written by a famous Russian scholar Tsymzhit Purbuevna Vanchikova. The author of the article claims that the monograph is a complex historical work that makes a significant contribution not only to the study of Buddhism in Mongolia but also to fundamental Buddhist, Tibetan and Mongolian studies.
