Within the State program for the developmemt of the manufacturing of veterinary products, investigations were conducted during 2013-2014 in two experimental enterprises of the Gomel region (Belarus) with the aim of: differentiating the diseases of cows in the postpartum period, choosing of drugs to treat and prevent the diseases and determining their therapeutic efficiency. 36,7 % of animals were diagnosed with endometritis, 11,6 % - placental retention, 3,5 % - ovarian hypofunction, and 11,2 % –myometritis and perimetritis. The treatment of endometritis using the preparation “Gisterosan MK” contributed to a more rapid recovery (complete healing required 2,9±0,3 times of injections, 12 days). After treatment, the animals came into heat and they were inseminated (2,3±0,2 inseminations per fertilization), conception rate was of 48,2 %. The cows with the syndrome «repeated oestrus» were inseminated after previous injection of the preparation “Fertilifil K”. The best results were obtained when the preparation was introduced at the third oestrus (conception rate 37,5 % -60,0 %), and at the fourth oestrus (conception rate 24 % - 60,6 %). Pregnancy rate after insemination at the sixth, seventh and further oestruses decreased and averaged 24 %.
