Summary:More and more students consider difficult to use the French language in Côte d'Ivoire. One of the main causes is the development of the curriculum, which leaves little room for theatre education, whose proper exploitation stimulates students' interest in the language. Regular practice of theatrical activity in the classroom promotes good handling of French. It allows reading, improves the flow of speech and allows the use of an adequate vocabulary. Then the Ivorian state would benefit from better integrating theatre into the school curriculum.
