Description
Summary:The tale is, according to our prospect of analysis, a wide field of investigation in which the intertextual and transcultural dialogue is not only explicit, visible, but gets it from the very essence of the text which is consubstantial. On that account, any action of transfer concerning it, either internal to an identical linguistic region or external, becomes an action of rewriting, accompanied with numerous metamorphisms, on both structural and semantic schemes. Putting in contact a linguistic pluralism and a cultural one engenders a diversity of methods of appropriation and of reconfiguration, going from borrowing, calling for adaptation or conversion of "motifs"(stereotypes episodes), or of entire units in order to conform the transferred and rewritten story(narrative) to the local proprieties and to the need or the new recipient's axiology. The "tale", of a shifty and ductile nature, appears as a privileged place of interaction between the present cultures or subcultures, underlining either their proximity through symbolic similitudes and similitudes of meaning ("motifémique"), or their distance, their strangeness due to the gaps and the discursive incompatibilities. Thus, the "tales" is built and is renewed in a steady backward and forward motion between identity and otherness.
