Description
Summary:The « Pays Basque » is recognized as an ancient identiterian territory but, for a long time, it has been divided by an international border. Nevertheless the cross-border cooperation programs are contributing to the softening of the ancient political discontinuity. This institutional rebuilding is favoured by the authorities but other cultural phenomena, especially residential, linguistic and festive, are contributing to the shaping of the new cross-border space.
