MonarcaWhen it seemed that Spain had definitely aligned itself with the most progressive discourses related to the right to education, and education inclusion, to a quality school for everyone, at least from a point of view of the discourse assumed by its governments, we find ourselves today with a draft bill from whose analysis a break with such trend emerges. It is true that the distance between discourse and reality has continued to exist, but not less true are the facts that evidence that education has gone through a democratisation process. The configuration of that scene which seeked to go from a selective school to a school for everyone was not easy nor can it be assumed that had been a success for all. However, the draft bill “Draft of the Organic Law for the Improvement on the Quality of Education” shows no continuity with that democratising project as it is understood; giving way to a new and more selective scene, fragmented into differenciated circuits.https://revistas.uam.es/tendenciaspedagogicas/article/view/2017Nueva ley de educacióndiscurso conservadorpolítica educativacambio educativo.
