Relação entre drenagem urbana e processos erosivos: estudo de caso em Campo Mourão – PR

Urban gullies have become a concerning environmental issue in Brazilian municipalities once they limit urban expansion, moreover, they cause both environmental and social problems. This work aimed to perform a geoenvironmental diagnosis of a gully located in Campo Mourão, Paraná State. For this, cartographic material and satellite images were used on the first stage aiming to physically characterize the gully. On the second stage, information about the erosive process was gathered and the surrounding dwellers were interviewed. The following stages were related to causes and consequences of the erosive process and, finally, to suggestions for holding the erosion and improving the degraded area.
