Therefore the necessity of search for new effective drugs with significant antimicrobial activity applied for the wounds treatment arises. Development of combined remedies on the background of different origin antimicrobial agents’ derivatives is one of the fight directions against infectious diseases in the skin pathology. Recently among the existing antimicrobial agents one should focus on antiseptic drugs, due to degenerative and dysfunctional effect on microbial cell.</p><p><strong>Aim of research. </strong>The comparison of mono- and combined antimicrobial agents chemotherapeutic efficiency in the treatment of localized purulent infection under experimental conditions.</p><p><strong>Metods. </strong>The study of chemotherapeutic efficiency was carried out on the model of localized purulent Staphylococcus infection on albino mice weighting 14 – 16 g. S.aureus ATCC 25923 strains were used as infectious agents. The contamination was performed subcutaneously to the right side of mice’s skin after depilation. The animals were randomly divided into 4 groups: the 1<sup>st</sup> group – infected mice without treatment (control); the 2<sup>nd</sup> group – infected mice treated with a ciprofloxacin; the 3<sup>rd</sup> group – infected mice treated with a Ciprofloxacin and Decamethoxin combination; the 4<sup>th</sup> group – infected mice treated with a combined drug on the base of mutual prodrugs (Hexamethylenetetramine and Phenyl salicylate).</p><p><strong>Results. </strong>The efficiency of mono- and combined antimicrobial agents under experimental Staphylococcus wound infection conditions was studied. It was found that localized purulent staph center was formed more slowly in comparison with control and mono preparation use (2<sup>nd</sup> group of animals). The average index of skin lesions in comparison with control and 2<sup>nd</sup> groups’ data (33 and 24) amounted to 6,4 in the 3<sup>rd</sup> group and 6,2 in the 4<sup>th</sup> group per animal respectively. The use of combined remedies №1 and №2 accelerated the recovery periods at 2,2 and 2,8 times in comparison with control group.</p><p><strong>Conclusion. </strong>It was found that the most effective treatment of animals with localized Staphylococcus infection was when used in Ciprofloxacin and Decamethoxin combination, and antiseptics with Salol-dependent principle of action combination.</p><p>It was proved that on the pre-clinical modeling of localized purulent infection level suggested combinations show satisfactory therapeutic and preventive properties</p>http://journals.uran.ua/sciencerise/article/view/52300localized infectionStaphylococcusnecrosisCiprofloxacinDecamethoxinHexamethylenetetraminePhenyl salicylatecombined drugs |
