The historical correspondence between both of them was considered the focus of the analysis, highlighting the main events concerning the fights for better life conditions as well as for the increase of social rights in Brazilian legislation.<<br>O presente artigo discute os elementos condicionantes das políticas sociais no Brasil através de sistematização dos dados históricos sobre as políticas sociais e os movimentos sociais no país. Procuramos tomar como diretriz de análise a correspondência histórica entre ambos, destacando especialmente os principais acontecimentos voltados para as lutas por melhores condições de vida e pelo aumento dos direitos sociais na legislação brasileira. |
