Morphological traits such as shelf life, changes in water uptake, fresh weight, flower diameter and physiological traits such as total protein and proline contents were measured. The results showed that combination of Salicylic acid + sucrose + 8-Hydroxyquinoline sulfate treatment significantly affected shelf life compared to control and other treatments. The results also revealed that the combination of Salicylic acid + ascorbic acid + sucrose + 8-Hydroxyquinoline sulfate delayed flowers senescence and increased the amount of water uptake, fresh weight and flower diameter.
