| Summary: | The objective of the study was to discover the beliefs, knowledge, and intervention precautionary measures of future secondary teachers as regards school violence. It is a transverse study with a population of 422 subjects taking the “Curso de Aptitud Pedagógica” in the years 2005/06 and 2006/07. The questionnaire is used as a strategy for collecting information (Ortega and Mora-Merchán, 2000; Spanish Ombudsman, 1999). It is made up by 66 items. The results obtained are similar to other studies (Spanish Ombudsman, 2006; Oñate y Piñuel, 2006; Ortega and Mora-Merchán, 2000, Pareja, 2002; Ramírez, 2006).
