Description
Summary:For 7 years now, the approx. 6,000 employees of the Austrian hospital network “Vinzenz Gruppe” with 7 hospitals receive an email newsletter from their medical library every 1–2 months with topics ranging from directly library related content to a wider field of internet and scientific information. General feedback shows a positive acceptance of the newsletter though – as expected – only little direct response occurs. Especially for virtual services, active and regular information is essentially important to keep up user interest. In addition this supports the internal position of the library inside the organizational structure.
