U članku se analizira pouzdanost pet mogućih arhitektura IMB sa stanovišta pouzdanosti pojedinih komponenti (senzora-žiroskopa i akcelerometara, procesora, unutrasnje i spoljašnje magistrate podataka, bloka za napajanje, generatora taktnih impulsa i programabilnih brojača), njihovom pojedinačnom doprinosu smanjenju pouzdanosti IMB i primene redundanse tih komponenti radi povećanja pouzdanosti IMB. / The most important and utmost per dimension unit of the inertial navigation sistem (INS) is the inertial measurement unit (IMU).
