The subjects were 150 students that selected by stratified sampling from the Moslemebna Aghil guidance school in the rural area of Ghooch Hesar, a district of shahre Rat. It was found that: before the health education program respectively 13.3%, 68% and 18.7% and after that respectively 46.7%, 51.3% and 2% of students had high, medium and poor knowledge about personal hygiene. Knowledge about personal hygiene rose from a mean score of 12.19 to 14.15. Appropriate statistical tests showed a significant relationship between students' knowledge difference and their grade (P<0.006).
