Summary:To find out the best match between precision of the workpiece surface and efficiency in short electric arc machining (SEAM), the article analyzes the gain characteristics of the power supply system in SEAM, and the simulation model of the power supply based on Matlab is established to verify the feasibility and stability of the power supply feedback loop in SEAM. Through short arc electric cutting machining experiment, we analyze the electrical characteristics of the power supply in SEAM, and work to figure out the relationship between precision of workpiece surface and efficiency in SEAM, which provides important technical support for the short electric arc machining mechanism research.
