Summary:<p>ABSTRACT</p><p>This study was aimed to analyze the effect of green grass jelly drink (Premna oblongifolia Merr.) on reducing blood pressure among adult women suffered from mild and moderate hypertension in Central Bogor Region. There were two intervention formulas, namely Formula A consisted of green grass jelly and brown sugar, and Formula B consisted of green grass jelly and non calori brown sugar. Subjects were consisted of 25 adult women aged over 45 years old and divided into 5 groups, namely one control and four experimental groups. Formula A was given to 2 groups; P1, which received intervention everyday, and P2 which received intervention every two days. Formula B had the same pattern with the Formula A (P3 and P4). The result shows that the systolic blood pressure of P1 decreased significantly (p&lt;0.05) by 20-25 mmHg. In addition, the diastolic blood pressure on groups of P1 and P3 decreased significantly by 14-15 mmHg after the two weeks intervention (p&lt;0.05).</p><p>Keywords: adult women, flavonoid, green grass jelly drink, hypertension</p><p>ABSTRAK</p><p>Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh minuman cincau hijau (Premna oblongifolia Merr) terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada wanita dewasa penderita hipertensi ringan dan sedang di wilayah Bogor Tengah. Formula intervensi dibagi dua, yaitu Formula A terdiri atas cincau hijau dan gula merah serta Formula B terdiri atas cincau hijau dan gula merah nonkalori. Subjek dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas 25 wanita dewasa berusia di atas 45 tahun yang dibagi dalam lima kelompok, yaitu satu kelompok kontrol dan empat kelompok perlakuan. Formula A diintervensikan kepada P1 (frekuensi konsumsi setiap hari) dan P2 (frekuensi konsumsi dua hari sekali). Formula B diintervensikan seperti Formula A kepada kelompok P3 dan P4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa P1 secara nyata mengalami penurunan tekanan darah sistolik dengan rata-rata penurunan sebesar 20-25 mmHg (p&lt;0,05). Kelompok P1 dan P3 juga terbukti secara nyata mengalami penurunan tekanan darah diastolik dengan rata-rata penurunan sebesar 14-15 mmHg setelah dua minggu perlakuan (p&lt;0,05).</p><p>Kata kunci: flavonoid, hipertensi, minuman cincau hijau, wanita dewasa</p>
