Summary: | The aim of this scientific study is to define the security environment, to predict its impact on the functioning of the security system of the Czech Republic, the Visegrad Group countries and the Army of the Czech Republic. The article is based on a sectoral analysis based on the approaches of the Copenhagen School, where Buzan, Waever and de Wilde understand the security environment by sector, using the political, military, economic, social and environmental sectors. Following the available sources, it captures the main development trends in individual sectors with impacts on the security environment. The author's effort is to identify possible implications for defense policy and the armed forces. The author is based primarily on analytical materials prepared in countries sharing the same or similar security
environment and security interests of a comparative analysis of available open sources, and the article contains an evaluation of selected state and supranational actors. |
