Description
Summary:Swept source optical coherence tomography-angiography (OCT-angiography) gives us a unique opportunity to study the vasculature of choroidal lesions in vivo. We describe the OCT angiographic characteristics of circumscribed choroidal hemangioma before and after laser photocoagulation. Medium-sized choroidal vessels/vessels on the tumor surface become predominantly visible after laser photocoagulation due to laser-induced damage to the overlying choriocapillaris. OCT-angiography adds a new dimension to in vivo analysis of vascular changes in choroid due to choroidal tumors and their response to therapy.
