Description
Summary:Numerous studies on Jet Production, Vector Boson Production, V+Jets Production and Multi-Boson Production have been carried out by the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) Collaboration to test perturbative quantum chromodynamics (QCD) predictions, and to put more stringent constraints on PDFs (Parton Distribution Functions). In this paper, some of these experimental results will be presented, and their possible impacts on Higgs physics and new physics searches will be discussed.
