Description
Summary:Between the Saale and Warthe stages no real interglacial age existed. It was a time, where a reforestation took place, but only with coniferous, not with warmth-loving deciduous trees. In the northern areas which were still depressed by the ice load, early-interstadial marine ingressions of short duration occurred. There existed, however, no high-interglacial transgressions of a warm sea. The interval between Drenthe and Warthe could be named a "Super-Interstadial".
