Summary:The systematization and analysis of the world evaluation systems of sustainable development of the state has been carried out in the scientific article. Three typical approaches to the construction of evaluation systems have been identified:  the system of primary and derivative (separate) indicators that directly affect sustainable development; the system of indicators, according to which individual aspects of development can be evaluated; the integral indexes, which help carry out comprehensive assessment of the country's or region's development. The features of wide-spread global indicator systems of sustainable development have been charcterized: OECD Sustainable Development Indicators; UNECE Sustainable Development Systems; System of Environmental-Economic Accounting (SEEA). Features and methodologies for structural analysis of the most well-known integral indexes (indicators) of development have been presented: the index of genuine savings, GS; Environmentally adjusted net domestic products, EDP; Human Development Index; Environmental Sustainability Index, Environmental Performance Index; Genuine Progress Indicator, GPI. Overview of the characteristics of all evaluation systems of the sustainable development of the state has been summarazied.
