Education in the villages of Zaplanjska municipality Gadzin Han

This paper represents the results of theoretical and empirical research in education of Zaplanjska Municipality Gadžin Han. The subject of the research is target identification and assessment of the population of the area on the contribution of education to their civic life and work. The task of the research is to determine whether there is a difference in the estimates of the population with regard to gender and education level of the contribution of education to their civic life and work. In order to determine the second half of 2009 the survey was conducted on a sample of 154 residents in the villages Taskovici, Koprivnica, Jaglicje, Cagrovac, Donji Dusnik, Gornji Dusnik Sopotnica, Ovsinjinac, Kaletinac, Licje, Semce, Mali Krcimir, Ravna Dubrava, Marina Kutina, Grkinja, Gornje Vlase, Vilandrica and Gornji Barbes. Results of a two-factor analysis of variance confirmed the hypotheses that population of this area in the past few decades was educated, that his formal education ended with elementary school generally; it has a positive attitude about education and that there is a significant difference in the population estimates of the contribution of education to improving the quality of their civic life and work.
