In this case, we present a 9-year-old male with significant skin and soft tissue injuries following a substantial trauma, that underwent a two-stage repair of the injuries. First the patient was treated with the application of BTM to restore a healthy neodermis. Second the patient underwent closure of the wound with split skin graft. |
